Marco Pedretti on trial at GSHC

The leaders of Genève-Servette Hockey Club have invited 23-year old Marco Pedretti to participate in GSHC’s training camp starting next week. The Swiss striker is on trial with the Grenat.

Having trained at HC Ajoie, Pedretti has been plying his hockey skills in the National League since 2008. During the 2008 play-outs, he was introduced to the NLA as a loanee from Ajoie to HC Ambrì-Piotta and he earned himself a two-year contract with the Ticinese club. Last year, he joined the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers but was unable to save the St. Gallen team from relegation.

Chris McSorley: ”Marco Pedretti is an interesting player for a club such as ours. He always gives his best and he has known much success in the past. He has regularly scored over ten goals in a season. We expect Marco to be competitive during the training camp and we hope he will fight to earn himself a contract. We’ve heard much positive feedback about him: he is a team player who would fit the GSHC mould. We are therefore optimistic about developing a lasting relationship with him
