Cody Almond to have surgery

Cody Almond underwent an MRI scan yesterday that bore bad news. Unfortunately the Canadian-Swiss striker will need surgery on his shoulder after an injury sustained in the derby against Lausanne. He will be absent for up to four months.

Noah Rod also underwent an MRI scan that showed no significant damage. The young striker will be examined again on a daily basis in order to assess his availability for GSHC’s forthcoming matches.
